I use the Leica DISTO D110 for measuring flats before decorating quotes and it has saved me a huge amount of time. The area function is especially handy, and the compact size means it lives in my jacket pocket rather than rattling around in a toolbox.

Very pleased overall. It is quick and extremely portable, which is exactly why I bought it for flooring quotes. My only minor criticism is that it is more geared to clean indoor measuring than rough outdoor work, but for interiors it is brilliant.

Bought this digital distance meter for electrical second-fix and general site checks. It is fast, accurate and ideal in tight spaces. I would have liked a slightly larger display, but the trade-off is that the unit stays genuinely pocket-sized.
